Who can publish on Younews.ge ?

Everyone is welcome to publish either articles, news digests, or even to create a new kind of quality check, and to enrich the platform in any way. The first audience of the platform are expected to be students of the faculty of journalism or political science and their profs, however whatever commentator and even professional writers/journalists are strongly encouraged to contribute with the platform

Are contents moderated and the published articles belong to me (as author) ?

Younews.ge policy is that contents are moderated by administrators and moderators following the agreed rules/set of guidelines of the platform, however a strong emphasis is given to authorship of articles: articles and news digests are expected to belong to the respective authors and therefore only minimal changes are allowed or encouraged by other users/authors. Specific technical measures might be implemented at this regard.

In what language articles should be ?

Currently we accept articles in Georgian and English (it will be discussed whether to insert Russian as well). An article in another language than English shall include a summary in English.

What is the purpose of Younews.ge ?

Younews.ge aspires to be a collaborative platform distinguished by high journalistic and literary standard, where talented individuals can express their skills, and possibly different media can converge onto an unique platform.

How younews.ge can be immediately used ?

You can just add a News media entry in order to contribute to create a comprehensive list of online newspapers and news media platforms for each country (starting from Georgia). Then you could create an article, write a News digests, and to fill-in a quality check for any article on the web.
Following, you can contribute more substantially, expanding the overall structure of the platform.
