[[File:20230127 175123.jpg|thumb|Sofia and Clara at the University of Georgia]] On 27th of January 2023, two Italian volunteers, Clara Camaglia and Sofia Furlan, staying in Georgia within the frame of the [https://youth.europa.eu/solidarity/mission_en European solidarity corps] project [https://wikiyouth.eu/wiki/ESC_Empowering_Youth_Community Empowering Youth Communities], thanks to the partnership of the Italian organization [https://www.aicem.it/ Aicem], and [https://culturaitaliana.org/organizations/Istituto_cultura_italiana_(NGO) Istituto cultura italiana NCLE] (based in Tbilisi), delivered a presentation at [https://www.ug.edu.ge/en University of Georgia] about the ESC programme thanks to the invitation of prof. Eka Devidze. During the presentation (based on [https://wikisphere.org/private-w/icitbilisi/media/Presentazione_per_le_Universit%C3%A0.pdf these slides] previously created at the Institute) Clara and Sofia questioned the students about the European Union and the European solidarity corps programme in particular. The students didn't know much about it, and, after having been informed about the terms (all costs are covered, in order to implement a solidarity and educational project at abroad during several months, to which Georgian young people are fully eligible to participate) they showed great enthusiasm and interest. As a follow up, the volunteers together with their mentors (precisely "project coordinators") at the next opportunity decided to engage the students more letting them to answer open questions (for instance: "What is European Union" ?) in written form and taking their time, so that a report like this can prospectively include their names and their contributions as well.
